Hello - new to the forum! Wish I had searched for this a while back!!
I have a 98 GTi (original owner) and last weekend at the lake, the deflector (over the gauge cluster) broke off at 50mph, fell in the lake, and sunk. (Actually it is probably washed up on shore by now and I'll probably end up seeing it on E-bay in a month.... go figure).
I bought a good condition (red) GTX deflector off of e-bay - my boat is GREEN, so I plan to have it color matched and painted. The only thing I am missing now is the GTi decal on the front.
Here is the question:
1) Does anyone know of a graphics shop that is currently producing or HAS previously produced the GTi decal.
-if not-
2) Would someone mind taking a good resolution photo of theirs so I can size it in photoshop and take it to a local graphics shop for re-print?
Normally I wouldn't be so crazy about sticker, but this SeaDoo is otherwise MINT. Always stored in garage, etc, etc. Would like to keep it stock and really am not crazy about the aftermarket graphics sets I've seen while searching.
The decal I am looking for is similar to the one in the below link:
