Hi all, new(ish) to the group.
I’d like to try to “crowd source” my issue;
1997 Sea doo Speedster (twin 717s). I install the lanyard plug/key on the DESS post and get 2 beeps. Start both motors, go for a good rip, hit the start/stop buttons to kill motors, and port motor kills, but starboard motor keeps running. Choke it to kill. Anchor, unplug DESS and watch the sunset, plug DESS back “on” post, get 2 beeps, start port motor with start/stop button, but no start on starboard motor (lifess; no click or anything). Limp home on 1 motor. Try again Next morning, everything back to normal, both motors start. Run for 20 mins, then same problem. Is this a dreaded MPEM failure? Thinking if it was solonoid, it would still kill the motor with the switch…
