Hi new to the board, did a dumb thing, launched Seadoo with drain plugs open. I got about 8 inches of water, pulled, drained, did all the required service. Found very little water in the cylinders. My problem is not getting spark, new plug, ckeck fuses and dried everthing with air. Motor turns over, sounds fine but no spark, any sugestions as to what to look for?

Linda:confused:

Ignition coil is probably still wet. Check all your fuses also. This might get ya started.

I am also having this problem, and I need to know where the ignition coil is at and where are the fuses. The machine is up at my dad's and my manual is up at my cabin so I can not look it up for him. Any info would be helpfull thanks

If you follow the ignition plug wire from the spark plug..it will lead you to the ignition coil...in the sealed box.
I would check the coil ground wire too.

katz....Unplug the black/red wire between the mpem and coil and see if it starts. If it does, you have an issue with a switch or the rev limiter in the mpem. If it doesn't, the stator or coil are the places to look. Also, if it does start with that unplugged, be prepared to kill with the choke since the stop and lanyard buttons are bypassed..
