1997 challenger single 787 , Replacing my MPEM with a MSD ignition . has any one done this ?

Starting this project . My MPEM is bad and I've seen others replace it with the MSD 4255 . has any body here done this . could use a little coaching .

Ya . I've seen that ,thanks . but I'm looking to completely replace the MPEM . the wiring is different for that mod . i email Holly to see if they can help out . i read a post where a guy did his 96 and holly got him some additional documentation to do the boat with a stand alone 4255 . but the 96's are different from the 97's

How did the conversion go? I just ordered the 4255 for my 97 Challenger.. I think I have all the wiring researched and figured out. Looking forward to getting it all installed. Did the MSD suggested stock timing and rev limit settings work out okay?
