Coastiejoe thats exactly what I am going to do. I went to get one this weekend but they didnt have a straight valve so i will have to order somewhere online. Any suggestions on the type and or place to buy? I guess i just have to make sure I have the right diameter.

I am not a 2-stroke guy, really don't know where they get most of their parts..
LouDoo racerxxx can likely help you with where to buy a shutoff valve for the oil line...

There is injection oil filled in the rotary valve shaft cavity. This is kept out of the crank area via seals on the crank. These tend to start slowly leaking over the years. So when you store it, oil will fill the crank area. To combat this, some add a shutoff valve to the injection oil supply line. The problem is if you forget it, you will not have any oil injection for the motor. So some say if you add the valve, then always tie you dess key to the valve to remind you to turn it back on before running.
Soccerdad, coastiejoe suggested you may know where to get the appropriate valve to put on my oil line. Its a 1996 GTX. Im just not sure of the diameter or where best to buy since its non stock at my Seadoo dealer. Thanks
