Hey everyone! Let me first apologize for posting a topic that I bet has been saturated.
1996 GTI--I know I messed up. I jumped it with a boosted battery, took the cables off and fried the MPEM. I have two Seadoos so I switched the MPEM and quickly figured out where my problem was.
My question is are the any way to fix this problem without parting with $400+?

Yes...I blow the 5amp fuse every time I hook the battery up. I pulled the MPEM out of my 1998 GTS and made it run

It is a 717 the number is 278 001 025 I put 015 on the heading
