1994 spi what is this hose?

Could someone please ID this outlet for me ? Black Hose doesn’t quite reach the nipple and is bigger than connector. I think I’m missing something to connect . Not a mechanic. New to PWC in general. Don’t know if it’s a vent hose or vacuum hose. It terminates on the right side wall.TIA For any reconnecting help. I’m talking about the white one pictured between the two oil lines.

Looks like you are missing the oil line from the oil pump to the intake. You can see the other end of the connection in your 2nd photo. I believe the line missing is 3/32". You should have a line on the backside as well check to see if it is there, but even if it is I would replace it.

Hey thanks! Again , total novice. So just a little jumper. That might explain these cracked pieces in the vicinity.

So what might the black hose go to?(2nd pic)

It’s the one that terminates out the side.(3rd pic)

I would take a look on the top of your oil tank and see if there is a fitting without a hose connected. Looking at my ski the hose from that side is connected to the oil tank which I believe is an outlet vent hose. On the opposite side of the hull you have a similar one connected to the fuel system.

Do you have the parts manual for this ski, they have all the hoses in there and usually you can tell where each hose goes. Look on internet for the manuel, its free to DL.

There is no vent hose for the oil tank, just a check valve.

That "black" hose is likely the battery vent hose.

I hope you did not run the ski with that oil line broken, if so your engine is probably done, they don't run long without oil.
