1991 temp sensor same as 1992-93?

I need a temp sensor and from what I can tell the temperature sensor for the 1991 SP has been discontinued. I have one they used in the 1992-93 SP. I assume this one will work.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what the difference is.

Temp sensor?......

I did not try and cross this or reference this because of the logic of a temp sensor. This is a simple bi-metallic switch. When it's heate, the two pieces of metal inside begin to bend toward each other. Once they reach a pre-set temperature, they close, completing the circuit.

So, if this sensor fits your threads and you've tested it in a pot of boiling water, to make sure the switch opens and closes, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Chances are, by the years, it would fit. Everything from 89 to about 94 or 95, in accessories, didn't see much change. So, I'm pretty sure, the sensor from the 92 and 93 models will be the same part number or has superceeded that part number.
