1990s GT style touring seat?

Hi all.

It's damn cold out here in NE but I was wondering.

I have never been on a jet ski and I bought a 1994 GTX. I have both seats. The "touring" seat has split at the front seam, the normal is in good condition.

Is the touring seat worth the recover? How rare or sought after is the style?

Is there a comfort level? again, never been on a ski.

I think it would probably depend on what kind of riding that you do. I've got a 96GTI (same hull), and I've found the standard seat very comfortable. The touring seat is fairly rare, so if you intend to sell it try selling it locally, it would be very costly to ship.

I haven't seen the seat cover on sale for the touring, just the standard. I need to dig deeper.
