Fiara beede will rebuild your gauge for you for about $90. It can take up to 6 weeks. I had my tachs done. However I did not do the speedo. I replaced with a Amazon China GPS one and love it.

Start at the paddle wheel. Is it there and spinning freely? The gauges are pretty reliable, but the speed sensors fail constantly. Candoo has a nice gps speedo paddle wheel replacement so you can keep your factory gauge and still get an accurate gps speed.
