Charged the battery more. Cranking good and I got fire. Thanks guys

It was the solenoid. I replaced it. It turned over good once then started jumping. It will turn over for about a second then stop then turn over again. I even pulled a good battery off another ski. Same thing

I just retested. I got 13.2 to the solenoid hit wire.

I am testing the start bottom as we speak. I hooked up my battery charger now I have 13.5 volts. The 12V low went away but nothing else changed. I am getting 3.4 volts to the wire going to the solenoid when i press the start button.

Lol. Yes they do. I have tested the starter switch and the solenoid. They seem fine. I will have to send my mpem out to be tested I guess.

ok, i recleaned the carb and put on a new set of plugs. when I first put it in the river it did the same thing as yesterday, then in about 2 mins. it lurched a few times and jumped to 7K RPM about 48 MPH and ran great for about 30 mins with lots of stopping and taking off. go figure. anything...

i did some reading. looks like you are dead on. I do not have a way to check the popoff. I used the same springs that were in there when I rebuilt the carbs. I may try to rig a popoff tester.

I cleaned the rave valves they looked good and seemed to go in and out properly. I have no idea what a popoff is and I have not touched the low or high speed screws, not sure where they are, I will go look. I had the flame arrestor and the plastic cover all on. maybe it is in the high speed...

I see what you are talking about. I have got to pull it off again and put the other impeller on the 94 pump. then for a test run. I will look closely for water intrusion, I will run it with out the seat for a few so I can watch... thanks again, I really appreciate it.

sorry, I know that sometimes even if something looks like it will work it will not. I will check for water intrusion for sure. I really do appreciate your help Racer and everyone else. I am in a learning stage right now about jetskis.
