    Well got everything back together..fuel selector valve was dirty as all get out...some gunk in the tank...all lines replaced..took a while to finally get gas to the carbs...but when it did fired right up and sounds pretty good...hope to take to lake tomorrow and give her a try...

    Well like I said...I was overthinking it...Got the carbs out and proceded to check everything out on the carb...filters were black, lots of junk in them...got them cleaned up and rest of carb...will start putting everything back together and replacing line tomorrow!

    How low do I want to go in the trailer? How far do I need to be from the cross member when up on the bunk boards? I look to have about 6" as the brackets are mounted as high as they will go...

    Will do...also do I need to remove the baffle/filter in the tank? Empty tank and all..some say yea..but again my doo only has 50 hrs, and runs pretty good...what do you think? It sounds like a real pain to pull...

    Great read...and good info..thanks..I'm pretty handy but the carbs scare me a bit..Might go ahead and change the lines then find someone local to clean the carbs and change filters...looks a little challenging to me..I also have a 01 GTX that probably needs the same thing. Both are low hour...

    Tie Down Question

    My single trailer I went from the rear tow hook to trailer in both corners..on my new (to me) shorelander double trailer it goes from tow hook to brackets ton the back bottom of the bunky boards... which I don't really care for...seems weak..would rather mount from tow hook to trailer..
