I changed out the grey fuel lines and changed the filter in the carb. I'll try pulling the red wire off this weekend and see if that's my problem. What's wrong with leaving the water hooked up without it running?

Hey Guys, Last year when I would take out my 96 Sea-doo XP every once in a while I would start it up and it would miss and hardly go, then I would pull the tether and try it again, same thing, pull the tether again and it would run great. Once in a while I'd be cruising along and it would die...

I tested the motor today and it worked both ways but that's all I've have a change to look at so far. I'm leaning towards the module since that seems to be a common issue with these. Where is the module located? Is that on the back of the motor box?

Hey guys, you pointed me in the right direction with my 97 GTi issue, so I feel someone on here can help me out here. My 96 XP has the VTS and it doesn't work, hasn't since I bought it. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking maybe the little vts motor is bad but haven't done any testing.

Thanks for the reply! I haven't really ran the fuel tank down to empty or even past 1/4 tank so I don't really feel like its debris. I ran a can or 2 of sea-foam through it this past summer to and that didn't really seem to have much of an effect on it. But how do you explain the gas gauge...
