Any 1 tow there boat with a car?

I wouldn't go messing with trailer tire pressures, just inflate to whatever is specified for the load on the trailer. Are you running bias or radials on your trailer? Bias type tires tend to run hotter, have a shorter life span and are less fuel efficient. I've run radials on my double trailer...

Any 1 tow there boat with a car?

It just seems silly to me that people want the Arabs to get richer on our hard earned cash thats being gouged away from us by oil companies... Its bad enough putting $100 in the ski's, I don't need some gas guzzler V8 to pull an 1800lbs boat, and anyone that says you do is either a moron or in...

Any 1 tow there boat with a car?

The dry weights on my skis are 414 and 434 lbs so 850 ish total. And I think the spec I found for the Eurpean cars was 1500 lbs w/o brakes and 3500 lbs with trailer brakes. And it will clearly move 3500 lbs no problem, just see my video above! Nonetheless I've used that car to pull double...

Any 1 tow there boat with a car?

I pull my double trailer around all summer with my two seadoos on it... Gotten a few looks from my local lawmen, but never been stopped. Sometimes a sandy ramp makes getting them out of the lake a bit of a smoke show, but never had too much of a problem. But I wonder what they say if...

95 XP issues after rebuiilt 717 carb screw adjustments

So I pulled the carbs and rotary valve, rechecked the positioning and found that if i flipped it i could get a little close, and now it seems to run like a champ with the screws closed, didn't have a chance to drop it in the lake tho, too busy closing everything up for the year. But at least...

96 Xp 787 hard to start then bogs. POP the choke and it pick up and go fast.

I'd been having the same bogging issue with my 96 xp, it would run fine on the trailer but drop it in the lake andit would chug around for like 5 minutes barely about to go over 5mph while spouting out smoke then all of a sudden it would go, and run fine, but occasionally bog down again. But...

95 XP issues after rebuiilt 717 carb screw adjustments

pistons and cylinders are stock size... When i first launched it after rebuild i could tell it was running lean cuz it had serious hesitation and when i pulled the choke half way it would run fine but as soon as it was released it would go back to hesitating. i finally found a sweet spot on...

95 XP issues after rebuiilt 717 carb screw adjustments

Hi Everyone, Thanks for looking This 95 XP was just rebuilt by the previous owner, who wasn't the greatest mechanic, but hey, hindsight is 20/20. Anyhow, It seemed to run pretty good, but while out for a day of riding at the beginning of this season, my buddy flipped it, and swapped it a...

High and Low spped carb needle settings

Hi again, sorry, on my 95 xp, totally stock, i experience therma runaway with the hs screw set to 1/4 or less, in fact i dont get poper throttle response until im about 3/4 out. Which is bewildering me too. But what ive read is that stock should be 1/4 and 1 1/4 low speed. Although the...

High and Low spped carb needle settings

I hope you haven't followed the advice for the speedster, as that's a 787, 110hp motor and has completely different carb settings. Setting the screw to 0 on a 717 will most defintely cause detonation and a hole through your piston in minutes
