    not getting full speed

You are right for the computer controlled break-in, it unlocks at a maximum of 10 hours (mine unlocked at about 7 hours). Strangely enough my neighbor bought a Wake edition and it didn't lock him. Go figure. So the issue is elsewhere. Are you absolutely certain that you didn't pick up a rock or...

Nut/ Washer Dropped in The Engine Bay

I long that good old times when magnets would pick up everything... including keys that fell in a rain sewer hole... happened to a guy I knew... I know another guy who also dropped them... but the sewer was full... you don't want to know how he did... Another trick I do: lift the tongue of your...

Nut/ Washer Dropped in The Engine Bay

Last year I replaced my refrigerator door seal and inside the old seal, there was a long magnet like four feet long but very narrow and soft (it can be bent). I kept it! If I were to drop something in my engine bay, I think I would use that magnet to recuperate it. Just a thought.

    Water in the foot wells

Your Sea-Doo cover is not sealed? You could put some 3 M water scotchguard on it.

Seadoo GTI 155 2019 cracks on the body

I can't figure out your third picture but it seems as this ski hit something, resulting in cracks in the gelcote/hull. It could also be a typical lack of quality control from BRP. I too had issue and the dealer had to replace my whole cover (paint cracked). I also saw two similar stories just in...

What is a safe cruising RPM - 2005 GTX 4-Tec Non sc

My 2003 is going strong at 215 hours on the new engine. The owner before me sold it to me at 90 hours and it broke at 130 I believe due to a botched job to repair a hole in the muffler using some JB weld. That makes the rest of the ski 345 hours and it still looks new. I took my ski out of the...

Question about capsizing a 4 stroke

Yes, I was monitoring them closely when I saw they capsized. I gave them about a minute to get it done by themselves and after that time I decided to go and help them at the same moment they start raising their arms in the air. The ski was capsized for a bout 90 seconds, total. They had no clue...

    Pulling the trigger on a 2019 Sea-Doo GTX Limited 300 + Sound System...Comments?

I am 222 lbs and it really doesn't make much difference on my GTI 90. Even at 400 pounds on it I only lose a couple miles, no more.

Question about capsizing a 4 stroke

Some young folks capsized their Sea-Doo Spark near me tonight and they waved at me because they didn't know how to turn it back up. I told them how to position themselves and the ski was back upright. All in all, it was capsized for about 60 to 90 seconds. I don't think it matters anymore which...

2003 GTX-DI almost sunk... MPEM dead

Basically if your hull was filled with 3 inches just after running probably means that the water is entering faster than the bailers can take it out. Unless the bailers are clogged from a very dirty hull.

    Dess Lanyard Programming won't work

Issue is they don't want to train their technicians on the old 2 strokes. I am probably one of the last ones who had his engine replaced by the local dealer in 2015. They screwed up the rotary valve and the carb. You can also buy the CanDoo but it costs $400 USD.

GTX DI 2002 starts, runs fine, kill it and start it several times, eventually doesn’t start after killing engine

People, especially @mikidymac here will tell you only to buy an OEM starter, not the eBay junk. Even if they seem to be working, they don't crank.

    Black liquid coming out exhaust

Look OK to me. If you were burning extra oil, it would smoke all the time, not just at startup. Looks like a bit of soot mixed with water. You may also check your spark plugs. If they are all black, then it could be that you are burning too much oil. P.S. you should not run it on the hose for...

2003 GTX-DI almost sunk... MPEM dead

Make sure you check those welding plugs, this is where they break first. It could be a tiny hole but with pressure when running it can fill pretty quick. It could also damage your engine.

GTX DI 2002 starts, runs fine, kill it and start it several times, eventually doesn’t start after killing engine

Could be the DESS post. If it is, it may get worse and then you will be sure. Also, for a few cups of water in the hull, no need to worry when in water but if you take it out of water, clean/dry it with a rag.

2003 GTX-DI almost sunk... MPEM dead

For the sinking part, check the muffler for a hole in it.

GTX DI 2002 starts, runs fine, kill it and start it several times, eventually doesn’t start after killing engine

What I noticed on my 2003 Sea-Doo is that if I just barely touch the key to the post, I hear the click in the back fuse box but not the 2 beeps yet. If In continue to insert the key, then the display will get powered and I will get my 2 beeps. After that if I don't crank, I will get 4 beeps. One...

Dealers do not want to touch 2 strokes with a ten foot pole anymore.

GTX DI 2002 starts, runs fine, kill it and start it several times, eventually doesn’t start after killing engine

As for the water in the hull, you should not have more than a few cups of it after running on a 2 stroke. Have you tried running it with the seat removed to see if you can locate where the water comes from?
