I get a continuous beep from the moment i put the lanyard on. The doo will start and run fine but the continous beep never stops.
battery is good
Does it with both lanyards
tested running voltage ... 13V
Gauges work .. but battery light and temp light do not go out
full of fuel and oil

PLEASE HELP.

I pulled the wire the temp sensor and no change. I tested it for continuity to ground as well and there was none. Gas guage is working fine. I aslo cleaned the post and the lanyard.

Both battery light and temp light stay on when running on my guage.

It has a brand new battery.

bad beeper...?

How do I test that or replace it? do I have to remove the gas oil / tank to get to wear the wire go in the gray box? or can I just splice one in? I took apart the handle bar par to check it out and it looks good .. no corresion or anything.

would a bad beeper make the lights for the battery and the temp stay lit?

thanks for your help!!!!

update: If I disconnect the gas guage ... I get two beeps and everything seems to work. Do I need a new gas guage or is there a short somewhere maybe.

I disconnected the sending unit only and it did fix the problem, but there is still a very faint buzz from the buzzer when I connect the lanyard that continues while I run it. The battery light remains on when running (as well as the fuel light).

With just the fuel sending unit disconected the temp senso light goes off when it runs ... good news there!

i really appreciate your time and help ... THANKS!!!

Any help with this ... I am worried about the very slight buzzing noise causing issues once i replace the gas sending unit.
