951 di fuel pump

Hey guys. I have an 01' rx di. I replaced the fuel pump with a quantum hfp342 di. My original issue was that the ski would die and not restart after the engine was up to operation temperature. The ski ran amazing with the new pump for most of the day and then died with no recovery. The pump either locked up or lost command for initialization. No fuses blown. Different symptoms than the original issue with the original pump. Everything I've read has recommended using the quantum hfp342 di pump. I haven't been able to check voltage to the new pump yet. Key beep and operation are normal. I really believe the new pump has seized. Anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance for any help

Did you resolve this issue?

I did. I installed the hp501 pump from oem I believe. I got approximately 10 hours out of it before I had to store the ski for the season
Argh brilliant, I’ve just bought a 501 but have another issue it seems. Big fluctuations in pressure and when engine is stopped It intermittently loses pressure in the line. I suspect a regulator

Possibly. I'm new to working on these things. There's a ton of good information on this forum by some very knowledgeable people. Good luck. Hope you get it going 👍
