I just started to notice that when i start the Seadoo there is a message that scrolls quickly about oil pressure. I do not get any errors while riding the jetski. Is this a standard startup message?

Second question. This ski has 25 hours do I need to be checking oil regularly. The oil was changed at the end of last season when I had the dealer winterize and store the ski.

Thanks,
Bob

I have not heard of anyone mentioning this as of yet. I own two 4-tec skis and neither do that...

I am of the opinion it is best to check the oil before each outing. Usually wasted time, but still best practice. IMO.

This is not a standard startup message. You must check your oil level before going out again. If isn't low, or is low but isn't corrected by adding more oil, check the User Manual to see how to read for error codes. If it has "thrown a code", reference the code using Google and determine the problem. If it hasn't thrown a code, you'll need to do some other troubleshooting. Good luck.

Hey mate i have a 2015 GTI 130 and i too have noticed this as well. Message lasts like 1 second and I've noticed it when starting sometimes after engine is warm. Doesnt do it all the time and ive had ski serviced twice now with no mention of codes etc coming up on service report. I always regularly check my oil levels and check inside hull for leaks etc with nothing abnormal. Im a very pedantic owner!! Could be just something spurious. Not sure. Im not too worried about it as it doesn't stay on and always happens when engine warm. Hope this helps. Keen on others thoughts too!! Cheers!!

Thanks for the direction on this. I think my problem is similar to yours and it hasn't happened again since that one day.
