Can I use this compression tester on my jet ski?

Hi, I figured I should probably do a compression test on my jet ski, considering how it doesn't run in water, and I just got it. I was reading how to perform one, and they say the adapter has to be the same length? does anybody know if this will work on my 1996 Spi, and also if the 14mm or 18 mm thread will work? thanks

you should be able to walk into any auto parts store and get one, no need to wait on shipping. i think mine was 25 from autozone.

i had no trouble having enough space to screw in the adapter and hose, and be able to lay the gauge on the lip of the hull on my 97xp

but for some reason it's applying to the compression tester, and they never work for motor oil ever, thanks again

for some reason, they're not allowed to discount oil, ever, for any reason. no courtesy or employee discount would apply to oil when i worked at the zone
