Installed new wear ring and had cavitation. Noticed the impeller had a broken tip on one blade so we in stalled a new Solas impeller. Still has cavitation out the hole. Im hoping someone can answer a couple questions.
1: Whats the standard clearance between impeller and wear ring
2: Is it possible for air to leak from the hull to the water pump thru the carbon ring but not water in the opposite direction
