You guys ready for Xmas??

Well... it's almost here, and as most of you guys know... I have 2 small kids. The wife has been working her butt off for the last 2 weeks to be ready. She's wrapped gifts, baked cookies, mailed cards... and right now... she is scrubbing the kitchen, and it's 10:42 PM.

Well... with all the festivities that are upon us... my 6 year old decided to get sick. It's nothing major... just a cold. (Sniffles, and a cough) But... she deiced to give it to me. So, today... I made her a little mad. I made her sit in her room, and relax. I told her that if she doesn't get better... Santa won't come. (That got her to stay in there) Don't get me wrong... her room is better than mine. It's full of toys, a nice bed, and a 26" HD TV & DVD. Basically... if I didn't get her to stay in there... she would have been running around like a crazy girl, and get worse.

At this point... everything is basically done, and we will do Xmas eve at my folks... we will do Xmas morning here with the kids... and then later in the day, we will do Xmas dinner with my wife's family.

Really... there isnt' a point to this post. But, the kids are in bed, it's quiet... and I finally got a chance to sit down with a laptop.

Merry Christmas !!!

Been ready, tired of waiting. I'm stoked for X-mas and the anticipation is KILLING me!!!!!!!! I'm ready to stock the underside of the tree tonight and ruin it all that's how ready I am. It has to be my favorite holiday, I love watching the kids open their stuff on Christmas morning, it reminds me of when I was a kid.

Merry Christmas to you Doc and your family and to the extended family here on the forums!

I'm with you racer, there is not a better time of year, what a riot. Kids just finished putting the milk and cookies out on the fire mantle for santa in case he comes early, which he does do some years. Doc I hope the family stays healthy through the season and has a wonderful Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!!!

It has been a good year overall for the El Toro family. Although there have been some bumps in the road, we have lots to be thankful for. The kids are getting older (22, 19 BIRTHDAY TODAY, and 17), but they are all home for the holidays. Santa will be good to everyone. Like the others have said, the best part about it all is seeing the family together, healthy and happy.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Doc hope your daughter gets well soon!

we recently rescued a 4 yr old female shiba inu from the aspca/shelter in upper bucks Pa. She is a sweet heart! Now our 6 year old Shiba inu Nikko has a companion! Just in these short few weeks Lola has been with us brought out the character in Nikko.
we picked up Nikko 6 years ago a few days b4 Christmas, and now Lola, again b4 Christmas, so it will be interesting to say the least and the doggies have toys to open!

Season greetings!
From our family to yours, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a health happy New year!
May this holiday season be a good one for all of us and 2013 be a healthy, better new year!

Well...........

It's the quiet before the storm. I'm up, and drinking coffee, but the kids are still asleep. It was a rough night. I'm sick... and both kids are sick. But, because of that... I'm sure they will sleep in a little.
