XPs Nose Heavy?

Major PWC newbie here but I have jumped in hard... Bought three in the last month (let my mouth overload my pocketbook on the last two)...

Anyway - I bought a 95 XP and then a 96 GTI and 96 Yamaha Waveraider. Rode the GTI and Waveraider all last weekend and they did great until the GTI quit on me (another post coming) after running strong all day.

I got the XP out Thursday night after work with my daughter and that thing seemed very nose heavy. Lots of water over the bow and flowing back into the sides of the Doo. Is this normal for the XPs? I was a little bit concerned about it but when I got it on the trailer it had very little water inside so it was not taking on water. I guess that's just the difference in the design of the XP over the GTI? I realize the GTI is a three seater that is longer and designed to be more stable but just looking for some reassurance that my Doo is "normal." :)

Usually over holiday weekends the forum gets kinda quiet. Everyone is out having a good time.

yeah its normal...

dont worry 94-96 XP tend to sink down a bit...as long as you aren't taking in any water you're safe...the 97' XP and on don't do that...one thing you can do is make sure the trim is all the way up when you load it...but again you're safe nothing is wrong its perfectly normal
