Does anyone know if a bad water temp sensor , air temp sensor or air pressure sensor can cause the fuel pump to lose pressure for 2004 GTI LE RFI.
It starts great and runs great for about 10 minutes and then loses fuel pressure from 60 to 20psi as detected by temporary inline gauge. Battery volts remain constant between 12.8-13.4. no codes from Candoo. Has new OSD rectifier, new fuel filters, new fuel pump, exchanged the fuel pressure regulator( but could be bad as well). But the question is can a bad water temp sensor , air temp sensor or air pressure sensor cause the fuel pump to lose pressure ?

Seems wrong,,,the fuel pump operates at a constant pressure regardless ,,,the injectors themselves work "off"and "on" by the rpm of the motor,
