RESTO Won't turn over gs 1997

My sea doo gs won't turn over. The case for the solenoid was full of water after a storm and I replaced everything in it. I can only get the engine to turn over by crossing the posts of the solenoid relay but won't fully start. Any ideas?

See if you get 12 volts at the trigger wire of the solenoid with the lanyard in place and pushing the START button. If not, then test the start button for continuity. If it is there, then you still have an issue likely from the water issue. Have to start somewhere to have a KNOWN good or bad. If not, we will just be guessing and that can be difficult and expensive.

I have voltage at the switch with the above guidelines given, any other ideas?

Turned out to be a loose wire in the mpem. Now engine is seized.

Did you remove the pump to make sure it is Not seized.
