Ok I'm back for more. My 96 Xp 800 is at it again. I recently changed the fuel lines and cleaned out the gunk from the filters in the carbs. After that it seemed like it was starving for fuel. I just replaced the filters inside of the carbs, and set high speed to 0, and the low to 1.5 as suggested. Now it wont start at all. I believe I'm getting spark, but when I pull the plugs out they seem to be wet, but only with gas. And yes there is oil in the tank. Any suggestions on what to try next??? Thanks for the help.

hey...pull plugs and see if theres spark, one at time, with other plug on ground post. Then if ok, clean them up, and set LOW speed adjustment to "1". Its possible, the diaphram in carb/s are bad. If they havn't been rebuild, I'd invest in kit. If so, JPX has sticky/thread on check'n pop-off, with homemade popoff gun. this critical, when rebuild'n them. Dont use any float-arm springs that come with kit, but heres specs/setting for your ski....1996 XP 787 (2)- BN-40I (SB) MAIN-142.5 PILOT-70 1.5n/s 23psi- 43psi LOW- 1 HIGH- 0...

The plugs in it only had about 5 min run time on them, but I changed them anyways. Still no go. I only took the carb apart enough to get to the filters, and I was very careful not to damage any of the other gaskets or seals. I don't know jack about carbs and did not want to end up with a hand full of "spare parts" from messin with them. I'm almost ready to take the thing to a shop.

Jay here is a simple solution. The carbs aren't real complicated and you will save in the long run. Here is a $10.95 solution. Do you have a seadoo shop manual? If not here’s an idea for you.
