I purchased a 2001 Seadoo challenger boat and can't seem to get it to start. Battery is charged. Push start seems ok. Don't know if there's a fuse box or fuse somewhere, if so please help me locate it. Or if the key need prgrammed ..... honestly no idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated. No spark.

Number one I would grab some new spark plugs and see, at the same time check you’re plug wires near the caps, clip them back 1/4 inch and reattached. Start with that easy stuff and re check for spark.

I have a 1999 seadoo challenger 1800. I was told I new a new mpem. I was reading on the forum about getting the mpem repaired. Can anyone help.

I may be way in left field.....and way off base. I am assuming it has started in the past, for you....or is this the first attempt since purchase?

My Challenger use to be a little bit temperamental, upon start (especially when it sits for any period of time). Assuming you are in neutral, and the power supply cut off switch is in the "on"position......I honestly would have to wiggle my key on the contact to get the beep indicating connection...then fired it up. Do you get any audible indication when connecting the key

Again I may be being to elementary in my answer, however my wife would always forget the starting ritual every season....and would complain it didn't work. Half the time she would forget to use the choke for each engine.
