Winterizing SCIC - hose for getting antifreeze into IC!

I winterized my SCIC this weekend and must say, with the advice from here and following Seadoo's storage bulletin, it was a breeze. Way easier than I expected.

One aspect had me stumped for a while: finding an "extra piece of hose" to use for getting antifreeze into the intercooler. The Seadoo service bulletin on winterizing says to add antifreeze to the IC itself by pouring it through an extra hose, attached to the IC's top nipple. I was planning to use the hose attaching the IC to the exhaust manifold but getting at the hose clamp at the manifold is pretty awkward. I needed an extra hose. Who has extra Seadoo hoses lying around?

After hunting around the cottage for a while and finding various hoses that wouldn't fit, I came upon a solution. The hose on my cheap electric air pump for filling inflatable water toys fit perfectly.

The fit was so good on the intercooler's top nipple that I didn't spill a drop of antifreeze. As you might expect I was pretty damned impressed with myself. With no one to brag to I decided to have another beer and post here. Since I expect most of us have these pumps and hoses lying around I hope this will help other do-it-yourselfers winterizing their boats.
