I signed up to this forum approx a week ago. It is really great and I've already learned many things about the my new jet ski. However....
I have a 12 hour old Seadoo 2007 GTI SE (130HP). I have really enjoyed riding it (60 MPH!!) and now I have winterized it for the off season. The many threads on winterization have led me to think that I don't understand something in the owner's manual. (I'm not talking about engine fogging, just the part about keeping the exhaust cooling system residual water from freezing.) The manual simply says to pour a specific amount of 100% anti-freeze into exhaust manifold via the short rubber hose that is attached to the aft end of the exhaust manifold. However, all the ongoing threads with questions on this subject make me suspect it may be more complicated than that. Is it more complicated or are the many inquiries on the subject of winterization based upons more complex (e.g. bigger engines, turbocharger intercoolers, etc) systems than mine? If I have done exactly as the owner's manual instructs, is my winterization OK?
Thanks again! You have a great forum!
