Will a 95 XP tach fit a 94 XP?

My tach leaks and doesn't work. I just bought a tach on Ebay for a 95XP, hoping its a simple plug in and go. Found one with a orange needle (hard to do!!). Anyone know if it will just swap out? Wires are different colors but looks like the same setup (3-wire). Thanks.

On all the early 2-stroke skis... you can swap the tach's. They are all 3 wire. Positive, Negitive, and the signal.
