There is usually a stcker on the back of the craft that shows you, but you will need to turn it in the direction that will take the exhaust down and under. I think that is usually clockwise on most models looking at it from the rear. Not to sure about the 4 strokes.

on my GTX, the exhaust is on the right side lookin from the back, so, you'd wanna flip it to where that hit the water last

here's the sticker....

i wish i could ride it today...:(

I don't seem to see a sticker there on my 03 4Tec. The owners manual says:

To return the watercraft upright, ensure the engine is off and the safety lanyard is NOT on its post then grab the inlet grate, step on bumper rail and
use your weight to rotate the watercraft in any direction.

ya i read the owners manual also lastnight lol because i didnt know i had one until i looked in the box of stuff i got and it said to flip it counterclockwise which in any case is always away from the carbs so it doesnt intake water before u start it back up.

Counter clockwise is right for your RX. Clockwise is right for a 96 GTX.

thank you chester. i appreciate the feedback. would like to know if u know anything about the fuel gauge not working now and maintnance light coming on and off would that maintnance light by chance be the low oil level for my oil injection?

I have an '06 wake. used with no owners manual or sticker. Does anyone know if I have to roll it clockwise or counter clockwise?
TIA

John

According to my 03 GTX, and I am assuming your's is the same, the boat takes it both ways.

if i were to flip my 2000 sea doo rx millenium on the water which way should i flip it back over so it doesnt intake water?thank you guys

hey man, there all different, i know there is something about the exhaust has to flip ove engine or something but dont get me lying to ya ha, my last 2 stroke did not have the sticker either so i went to seadoowarehouse.com and you can actually type in your model ski and order anything even that sticker and its like 1 dollar and remember to install it upside down, good to have man you do not want to deal with water in the cylinders i just paid pretty penny to get my 4 tec cleaned out lol good luck

gas gauge messes up from time to time, really not a big prob since you can just pop hood and check out tank, yours is the rx di or i would say add a little oil in your gas to heard its not good to do o the di cause it can cause prob, they are already prone to problems i had one of those for 1 day and took it back because already had problems with the direct injection. wouldnt hurt to take it to shop and just get it completely checked out, would be cheaper than new engine down the road ya know, good luck man

Wouldn't it just depend on what side of the ski is most in water seeing how the goal is speed when flipping it over would it really make a difference in what direction u flip from I say what ever side is easiest for you my skis sorta starboard side heavy so i tend to flip from its port

The important thing is to get it running as quickly as possible to boil out any moisture and get the oil in to prevent rusting any rotating parts, if you wait 2 days you will have a new engine in your future quickly.
