where to have cylinders work done

if I were to pick up an older ski with a 717 or 657 that needs a top end rebuild, what is a good place to get the cylinders bored? I'm in SoCal so LA/OC works for me if local. If shipping, do you ship just the block? what is the typical cost to have a two cylinders done?

Any machine shop can bore them if you provide the specs which can be found in the service manual. $75 per hole around here.

In So Cal. Langstons in Temecula is great. If you want to ship Group K in Arizona.
I would caution you to only use a machine shop that has experience in 2-stroke engines as I have seen quite a few automotive machine shops mess up and not chamfer the ports since all they do is 4-stroke engines that don't have cylinder ports.
