But I'll probably be riding somewhere else soon because hubby's job is transferring him at the end of the month (dont know where yet)
I wish it would be Iowa or Illinois. My Brother lives in Clinton and we have been talking about taking the ski out on the Miss but I haven't made it up there yet!
I have to add I have taken mine to the Gulf of Mexico as well around Destin, Fl. Will be taking it back whenever I can despite how corrosive in nature the saltwater is.
Freshwater: Lake Berryessa, Pardee Reservoir , Lake Comanche , New Hogan Reservoir.
Brackish Salt to Fresh , California Delta. Montezuma Slough ,Steamboat slough , San Joaquin River, Sacramento River.
My first Ski a 1990 GT was used 100% in saltwater. But after every run I flushed it from front to back and then sprayed it down with wd40. I was rough on that ski. I could submarine that ski and traval 10ft or more underwater still running. I would come up the the hull would be half full of salt water. Had hundreads of hours on it. Corrosion was never an issue because I took great care of it every trip I took. After 3 years I sold it and that ski still looked and ran like brand new.
Up here in ontario theres a lake every 10 KM or less. Lake ontario itself is 25 min and a riot when the winds been blowing all day and has massive crazy waves.. Get some serious airtime off them babies.. Even scary at times. When you land both you and your machine are gone underwater your so high.. haha
Lake Greeson Arkansas. Its a small freshwater Corps of Engineers lake about 80 miles from home. We basically are there every spare minute this time of year. And a lot during the winter.

The xp is salt water use off the beach or in the channel and intracoastal waterway near surfside texas. The boat mostly lake houston and only in fresh water.
We ride in NY and Ontario. And yes, the poster who wrote about Lake Ontario is right. There are some big waves out there. We recently completed a 1,000 KM ride. :hurray:
When I was in Kansas I rode in Milford Lake and Tuttle Creek Lake. Here in GA I ride in Thurman Lake at least I think that is the name I just drive to the Fort Gordon Rec Area and go boating. Next year I'll be living near Savannah so I guess I use the Savannah River, ICW, and some near shore Alantic. That'll be my fist time in salt water looking forward to it. :hurray:
Our new Sea-Doo sees a bit of everything. Saltwater off the Virginia Beach Oceanfront & in the lower Chesapeake Bay, Brackish in the Elizabeth River (ICW) & fresh water at Lake Gaston.
