What would you like to see in the next SeaDoo PWC?

Ya I was looking to buy a new SeaDoo this year but opted for the Yamaha VXR as it has big power and is one of the lightest machines out there. So far I love it as it is fast and playful. I can get myself very wet when I want to. After having 4 Seadoo's in the past I too am really turned off by all the size and expense of the new machines. I want something playful and the option to only add features as I need them. I love both Seadoo and Yamaha but will buy whichever one produces a machine for my needs :)

Why are 2-stroke illegal? I thought it was based on emmesions, not the design?

I got a Evinrude E-tec in 2008 after the law went into effect for my pontoon....

That's a 2-stroke...

Larger tank adds to the overall weight. These things already are close to 1000lbs. Just get a more fuel efficient one ;)

Rxpx 812 lbs the extra fuel you are looking at 4 gallons at 6.073 lbs/ gallon you are looking at approx 24 lbs that's nothing and you are still under 1000 lbs

I would like to see an oil drain bolt added so its easier to change. Maybe they already have this on newer models?

I hear yah brother. Couple things tho there is one, you'll never get it out and back in without stripping it (aluminum castings). Only way it works is with block out. Also I'm not on the green peace wagon but if it was easy to dump oil into the hull, a lot of oil would get unloaded into lakes.

I would like to see an X4 with a 110 ACE engine. All my friends and I agree that the Spark is pretty f'ugly . They ALMOST got it right

I gotta respectfully disagree. I rode one this weekend, it's so close to an X4 I would not judge until you get seat time. You can tell how light it feels when you turn. As far as looks, that's all personal, beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. But to me I love the look and it follows suit with their snowmobiles and Spyders. It truly is a cool machine and sure an extra 20 HP on top of anything would be cool, I'd wait to see what next year brings

Yea, my only real squabble is entirely personal. I haven't ridden, but I bet the 90hp is probably sufficient. I just can't get over the looks :/ (yet?)

I would like to see some sort of drain valve in the gas tanks. Trying to suction all the gas out is almost impossible with a hand pump.
At the bottom front of the tank would be nice. A good valve not just a plastic one.
Either that or one at the top attached to a tube that reaches the lowest point of the tank when ski is tipped downwards on the trailer.
Actually that shouldn't be hard to make yourself if you're creative enough.

Personally I think Seadoo hit a home run with the Spark, you gotta remember the target market, it's an entry level fun ski, I also have ridden one, a 90HP 2up, honestly it reminded me more of my 96GSX, than the X4, because it's a lot more stable than the X4. It's a small, light weight, nimble, fun to ride, entry level ski. Adding more HP, and adding more bells and whistles, is only going to make it something it's not, and increase the price out of the entry level range.

That being said, this summer we've been using the boat more and the ski's less, and since at least in my opinion, the feel and ride is consistent with my 96GSX, my GSX only has 121 hrs., I probably won't be buying one, at least not in the near future. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

We love our new Wake Pro 215... Only wish we have is SKI Mode should have capability to store multiple set up (different skier/boarder) so I do not have to go thru programing each time different guy who need different speed or launch strength... Our boat has that capability but our kids and friends prefer skiing behind See-Doo...

More speed and a fin under the seadoo (help slalom skier)

Do you have a ski or a boat?
Some newer skis will hit close to 70mph with a little help.....how fast do you want to go?

Or as Chester said once....."how fast do you want to spend?"

In the US the top speed, for a recreational ski, is limited by the US Govt. to 70mph. A lot of newer skis are capable of more, this may not be the case in Canada. In any case I can't imagine skiing at more than 35-40mph.

The only thing I'd do is revert the colors back to the 2014 style, and change the look of the RTX-X 260 to look much more like the RXP-X 260.

Hello All,

BRP constantly works to improve their product each year. From Braking systems, to suspension, to electronic throttle control, Sea-Doo is no doubt are on the cutting edge.

With that said, what would you like to see on the next SeaDoo PWC? What would you add (or subtract) to the design?

I had a 2009 Sea-Doo GTX 155 and found the storage bin to be able to hold the towels, anchor, paddle, some food and drink, and cover when needed. Just purchased a 2014 Sea-Doo GTX 155 and have to buy a different anchor, and leave a lot of the items behind. There is so much wasted space under the storage bin!!

Not sure why with a bigger hull S3 that Sea-Doo would go to such a small storage bin. That's what I would like to see.

Yea, you could transport a small family of migrants across the gulf in my old 2004 GTX. That thing was awesome, in terms of storage space.

1. A proper bilge pump; 2) Build in all the features of the X-Package Module; 3) a 12v power outlet. Nothing to subtract.

I think its a no brainer. There absolutely should be a sound package available. No questions asked. Cannot believe there hasnt been one introduced on SeaDoo yet.
