What is this fitting on my 210 M2?

Working to get my boat back in the water and had to replace a starter and solenoid. The boat is turning over fine and is starting to catch, but then I noticed that fuel is blowing out of this thing. It's an external fitting of some sort. I can't imagine that it's a fuel line. The fitting looks completely rusted. Sigh.

I'll be honest, I think I made a mistake by using Purple Power at the end of last season and not following up with some strong anti-corrosion product.

Thank you in advance for any advice!

Yes... that was a mistake. The purple power... along with any other detergent... is corrosive. It needs thoroughly rinsed away... and the engine oiled for corrosion.

Anyway... that fitting is part of the 210 bleed system. That's a air leak, and needs to be fixed so you don't run a cyl lean.

Thank you. Air leak. That is much simpler. Easier to repair. Now I just have to figure out why I have no spark again. Argh....

We had a Challenger that had a VERY weak spark. Turns out it was the stator going bad. The manual provides instructions on how to test it. (Your boat info isn't in your member profile so maybe yours doesn't have a stator.)

Thanks man. I'm going to skip the stator for right now because I replaced the stator and trigger last season. I'm hoping that it didn't fail that damned quickly. It might come to that eventually though.

I just replaced my starter and solenoid, so I'm double checking my wiring to make sure I didn't leave off some critical ignition wire! I'm glad I took pics of the starter before, to duplicate the wiring (easy), but I didn't take pics of the solenoid so am double checking the wiring diagrams.

Thank you very much guys. I love this community.
