97 Challenger 787 2 stroke.
Ok on the hose out of the water the Ideal is 3,000 and everything runs fine (smooth) But when I slowly give it throttle @ around 3,500-4,000 it starts to run erratic (run off like hopping) and will not really go any higher. Is this normal or do i got a carb issue. I Hit 7,000 rpm in the water but the lower rpms are sluggish and a lot of smoke comes out (plugs are good). so i go from 3,000 with a hesitation or lul to 7,000 fast. Any help
