I am just curious.. i was planning on installing myself but with everything thats been coming up I dont want this to end up being like some of my installs that sometimes went on for weeks without getting done.. and i dont want to waste valuable time that I could be out on the water.. So anyway.. If all goes well I will have the following items to install for the audio system:
I pretty much have every possible install item necessary.. I mean I bought 25ft of power/ground wire, 50ft of speaker wire, all fuse holders, ditribution blocks, fuses, rca cables, etc etc... I dont think anything else will be necessary at all.. Just curious what you guys think a shop would charge if just needing to do the install.. really all that will be needed is to drill out the front speaker holes and run wiring from there to the gauge area, they can use factory speaker wire for the speakers that are goign in the factory speaker location, run speaker wire to the sub in the rear storage, and then just run the power the battery swithc which is under the steering console where amps will be mounted and then run the ground to the battery in the engine compartment.. i mean idk.. maybe its just me but i cant see ti taking that long.. but i know how frustrated i can get and i know i will get pissed in the middle and leave and then not want t obe bothered and the boat will sit for the rest of the season.. just wanted to weigh the options of pushing and doing it myself or letting someone else do it and see what the price difference is..
