I'm running the dual 787 Rotax motors, and need to rebuild the carbs. Just curious, either what would be a good yet cheap carb rebuilding kit? And also what is the exact model number for my carbs too, all I found on them were 2 H's, one on each part of it. And the Made in Japan imprint. :P

EDIT: Forgot to add that there is a Mikuni logo I guess you could call it on the carbs too.

I'll be watching this thread.

I have 99 challenger and can't find anyone to work on it for me so I got to figure it out myself. :)

the 800 engine has a pair of SBN 40's. The only rebuild kits that are worth a dam are OEM Mikuni kits. The import kits are OK for the gaskets... but the diaphragms, and springs SUCK !!!

Thanks for the help Honda. Does the Mikuni kit only do 1 engine or would it do both?

One kit does one carb. So if your engines have dual carbs which mean you have 4 carbs total then you need 4 kits. But if your engines have single carbs then you need 2 kits.

Dr Honda is correct. they are sbn 40s. Great carbs and easy to work on but costly because theres 4 of em. rebuild kits run about$120 for all 4. But the kit comes with EVERYthing youll need. deffinatly go with oem kits. make sure ur pop off is correct and that u have the correct springs in.
my carbs were always giving me trouble until i got a pop off guage an changed my springs.
good luck.
