What can I tow/pull with my 1999 GTX?

Hi guys,

I am new to the PWC world and I would like to know what I can pull, as far as tube toys go, on my 1999 GTX PWC. I have two kids, 7 and 10, and I would like to pull them (together) on a tube built for 2. I have no idea what these machines are capable of doing and if anyone could enlighten me it would be great!

With 130 HP, you should be able to tow whatever you want. We would tow 2 kids on our 65 HP seadoo.

I weigh 110 kg and my son weighs 55 kg and our 99 GTX ltd pulls us on a tube no problems so.....have fun!!!

Anything you can tie to it.

I wouldn't try towing a sunken truck from the muck, but about anything else is fair game.

My 220lb butt was being pulled behind my 110 XP and Challenger on a surfboard, wakeboard, and double waterskis. No problem.

I agree with others; I wakeboard behind the GTX every once in a while and pull my 2 person tube also; now if you are swinging the tube it will tend to pull the ski also but you will get use to that and just takes some stearing correction to overcome:cheers:

my 93 GTS (60 hp) even can pull a tube..... being pulled by a 110hp ski would be pretty fun id imagine:hurray:

No, your GTX has the 130HP 951

Yours is more powerful than mine. I was using the ease with which both my 110 HP jet ski and boat both pull my fat butt up as an example, suggesting that yours will be even more powerful and easy to pull you up.
