The engine over heated on my 580 at the weekend. Took the head off for the first time- and not suprisingly saw one of the head/liner o-rings had blown. Its a good looking westcoast head: i only just realised that the domes are not cast-in. On the cylinder thats leaked it seems that the dome has sunk into the head. Does anyone know if that is usual?? I expect just to lap it all back flush-OK?? But questions on the domes- How easy do they come out? and should i worry about them sinking into the casting?? Apart from that engine seems okay.
