Does anyone have any information about west coast products? Like catalogs or other general info? I have a westcoast trim tab kit for my 95 xp that I’m looking for more info on
All good thanks thoughapologies, it was a rossier catalog
Mainly looking for how the tabs are set up on the ski any any pictures of themWhat do you want to know? Out of business for a long time. You want to run the trim tabs but never the middle rideplate extension, that is about it.
yes I can tell that but how is the linkage hooked up?They only mount one way. Smooth side towards the water, rounded corners away from the pump.
I think mikidymac and myself are picturing a different item than what you are talking about. I am referring to the trim tabs on the bottom sides of the hull. Sometimes they are called hull extensions or trim tabs.
Here is a photo . Could you upload a photo of what you have?

I got it off of eBay, listing was for west coast trim tabs for an x4 hullOut of curiosity, where did you buy the kit from. Do you have the listing ?
This is the only picture I have from the listing
Ok thanks for all the help, I appreciate itOk, what you have are technically trim tabs but they were quick turn tabs.
Sorry but they serve no purpose unless you are racing on a buoy course. You are also missing the handlebar lever, cable and actuator. Basically in a race you would be running wide open to a turn then just before the turn you would pull the handlebar lever that would drop the trim tabs and bury the nose of the ski so it would stick the turn around the buoy then let go of the lever and get back on the gas.
For recreational riding they are pointless, just get regular fixed trim tabs.
