Well one of the last times I went out on my boat the "Maintenance Required" came out on the digital display. That was the day that a small branch got caught in the impeller, I was able to remove the branch and all was well and the boat worked flawlessly.
I decided to go ahead and do my 10 hour inspection, oil/filter spark plug change, they are charging me $274 for the service. I know it's a little steep but since I do want to have everything documented just in case I have any warranty issues I have everything in writing and I did everything correct on my part.
One thing upsetted me though, when I was dropping off my boat, the service advisor pushed and pulled the forward/reverse throttle rather harsh, I was like "wo slow down cowboy, that's how I broke my last reverse cable on my previous boat, a 1995 seadoo sportster, and breaking that cable on the water isn't any fun".
I was planning to document on the paperwork work what the service advisor did?
They also stated that the wear ring has some grooves on it, and that i may need to change it and the impeller, for like $600, what do you guys think?
