OK, dont know if everyone has this issue but, when I turn the battery cut-off knob on and off I hear some noise like gears activating and deactivating around the area where the battery is. What exactly is this gear like sound?
Need to know because now is not doing it anymore after I tried to recharge the battery and yes I checked all fuses but there are some that are solid black and I dont know if their good or not.

Black fuses..?

Those black boxes are relays. You replace them if they go bad, but you should not have to mess with them.

You don't have your boat info in your avatar but from looking around, it seems like you got a newer model Challenger with the 4-TEC engine.

Not sure what your hearing with so little info but, when you put your lanyard on, you could be hearing the fuel pump coming on.

When you first power up the boat electrical system, your going to have some relays coming on, possibly a vent fan to come on to purge any explosive gases, or just sensors powering up to tell the engine managment system that your ready to start.

If your hearing it when you shut down, then it could still be your fuel pump or other sensor operated components that are powering down. Your bilge pump, it works with or without the key. It has a water sensor on it that will run regardless.

The bad thing about these bilge pumps, a lot of the time, those stupid sensors will say there is water in the bilge when there is not. So, the pump will run constantly.......

With the limited info you've given, kinda hard to pinpoint exactly what you are talking about.

Try and localize the noise. The easy way is to get a long screwdriver or metal rod, put it to component parts around the bottom of the motor, around the engine compartment and then, put the other end on your ear. That litle piece of gristle at your ear canal, bend it over then rest that metal bar on it. This is how we listen to bearing noises on a running motor. You can use it to localize where your noiseis coming from.............

Makes Sense

Well I guess it could be the gas pump because the rest of the electronics work fine and the fuses still look ok. The issue is that the noise is not there anymore so I can't use the screw driver like you mentioned to pin point its source. I will take it to the dealer but I was told by BRP that the 5 year warranty only covered manufacturer problems not mechanical.
