I'm a 300 pound guy who has always rode 3 seater Jet Ski's with no problem. Just wondering if there would be any stability problems for me riding a 2 seater '94 Seadoo XP. The size doesn't look too much different than what i'm used to, but I just wanted to check.

yes, you will have a problem unless you are an expert rider, x4 hulls are very tippy and unstable for people over 250lbs, imo. you can't even compare the stability of a 3 seater to the x4. you should ride one first, you'll get used to it but it is definitely not stable.

Very good to know. Thank you!

How about the 1997 polaris slt 700? I don't know what the hull on that is, but how is the balance do you think?

The Polaris will be much easier to balance on at low speed. Both are ok once you are cruising, but as stated above, the old xp's are tippy when idling. The Polaris stable with 500 lb.

The X-4 hull wasn’t introduced until 1995....js
