Weak spark

Problems?......

It could be. It could be several other things too..........

What happened to it? What lead you to the spark problem? You can try the simple solution without responding. Take off the plug boot, cut your wire clean, about 1/4", then re-attach the plug boot and give it a try.

The 787cc engine has one coil that fires both sparks at the same time. If you got spark on one wire but not the other, you may have a wire problem or the coil is almost shot........

Think you may be right, I thought about the plug boots and the pto side(the one without spark) slid right off. Mag side was not much better. Will find out tomorrwo. Thanks for the reply, the manual is not much help with these kinds of problems:)

Sounds like a problem then....

Then, it sounds like a big chance that your problem is in your boots. The boot has a needle looking piece of wire that stabs into the center of the wire where the metal wire is located that carries your spark. About 40,000 volts.

Yeah, good thing the battery was low, only took about 200000 to the forearm when I was checkin the spark again:ack: No there is no spark, but the batt is only putting out 5 volts under load, between the boots and low voltage, think the problem is taken care of, since the boat was running a few weeks again. Thanks for the help...
