Water strainer?

Anyone out there that plays with there ski in the salt water run a water strainer on there water intake for the motor of the skis? If so what kind and who makes it.

was throw'n idea around, but with a water filter, which west marine..etc has them. Any "inline" water filter..never installed though.

yea thats what i was talking about just wanted to see if anyone that rides in salt water had one and if they recommended it..
