That’s what it has....just a two bars. If you make a mesh on it you probably will have cavitations on the impeller that also causes damages at the impeller surface.
When I used my SeaDoo the first two times I sucked twice something inside. Best way is to drive slow until the water is deep enough and then watch out for debris’s on the water surface. I face always this problem after heavy rain showers because I drive on the river Rhein near Basel (Swiss). Since I know this I have fun with the SeaDoo. Just yesterday we did 75 Km/h with the bimini up, two adults and two children.
