Anyone have any solutions on how to quickly add antifreeze into a C180 after riding it on a warm winter day? I was thinking about winterizing my C180 today but we are still going to get a few more warm 70ish days that i will want to go ride around the lake with my family.

I am not planning on changing the oil and greasing everything again but it freezes here so some antifreeze is needed. Is there a hose that I can stick a T-fitting on that i can just dump antifeeze in after each ride?

any thoughts/ideas are much appreciated :)

You could do that, just be sure you use eco-friendly anti freeze so as not to contaminate the water or ground.

I was wondering the same thing, I would assume that you could add a few gallons of propelyene antifreeze into a bucket and push it in with a submersible pump while running the engine, much like you do when you flush your exhaust by using the flush fitting on the pump, I would think that should get into all the areas needed to keep from freezing, unless anyone out there disagrees

That will do the trick. Just don't run it for longer than a couple minutes as the jet pump bearings and seals will get hot out of the water and the interloping plates that cool the engine aren't being cooled either. Have a helper to make it go smoothly.
