Vts

After purchasing my 1996 seadoo spx I found out that my vts is bad. Motor works but blows the 7.5 fuse and i also had it tested. I want to replace it but their is no part number on it. Does anyone know what the number would be? It only has one harness on it. And is there a better way around purchasing one?

Click on the parts tab above... and you can look up the part number.

What ever you do... DO NOT try to keep putting fuses in it! (until you fix it) A bad VTS is known to roast the MPEM.

If you PM Minnetonka4me... he may have a used on for you. If you don't mind changing a plug or two... I have one from a 95 sitting at my shop.

When does it blow? All the way up or down? Is it stuck? Take the motor out and test it not attached to the worm screw and see if it will go up or down with the Vts button. Report back.
