Just wandering if/when I get my top end back from Full Bore and decide to sell it. It's a 96 XP800 in near Mint Condition all stock on a trailer with a resent engine rebuild by Full Bore and new top end from them. what would you guys think I could sell it for, please?
Thanks, Randy.

That's gonna depend on where you live. Around here it is much easier to sell a 3-seat GTX. I guess if you get the right party interested they'll pay good money for your ski. An ordinary Joe Blow won't care if it is a 717 engined XP as long as it runs. LOL Same goes with high performan parts... unless the person cares about that kinda stuff $1500 in upgrades means nothing. When I sell mine my XP I'm gonna aim for $2500. I'm in south Louisiana near Mississippi. Hope this helps.

As Gene said, the market is really strange at the moment and nobody knows what this summer will bring.

Aftermarket parts bring no value to the general buyer.

Typically a clean 96’ XP would bring about $1500 but last summer they were at $2500 to an amazing $3000 depending on the area in the country.

BTW Gene, you have an XP.? Do you have aftermarket race sponsons on it? TIA, Randy.
Nah I sure don't. It's got more than enough handling for me. I can image getting slung off the ski making a turn !! :D :D I think that experience should be reserved for "Fat Boys and Women." LOL Man just the thought of trying to reach in there to unbolt those things make my neck hurt. LOL

96 xp is worth good money as it is one of the most fun you can have on a jet ski.if it's clean trailer is good and motor done right it is worth good money look around some sites and see whatvthey going for.some racers will love to have that ski

I don't know much about the different model years but I thought the XP800 was a special ski. To me that would make it more valuable to the right customer.

Thanks for the responses! So to be clear I'm in Kansas (KC). 96 XP800 this is in excellent, I would lean towards mint condition. Few light scratches, no beaching marks on hull and no fading. Full Bore completely rebuilt the engine several seasons ago. Didn't get used much then a few years ago it cracked a piston ring and Full Bore is redoing the top end and will be done soon. Finally! It has a "like new condition trailer also).
I appreciate all the advise, Randy

Keep this in mind. There are NO good 2-stroke Seadoo skis out there. I see what people sell in my area and the skis are all used up. You have a quality ski, market it as such. There are people that want good skis and don't mind paying for them New skis are $15k so price your accordingly. You'll never sell your ski to someone on this board for $3K but believe me there are many buyers out there that would be glad to have it. Good Luck !!
