Hello all. I purchased a 2007 Utopia 205 SE three weeks ago. 220 hours. Had maintenance done on both engines and new wear rings installed. On my fifth trip out, my starboard engine drops out of sync over 5000 rpm. It is 200 rpm less. If I go over 7000rpm, which I only did to test it out, I get a continuous beep from the dash with no lights...

Could this happen from sea grass? Or, should I be concerned? I flush the jet packs with salt away every weekend. This did happen after I ran over a patch I couldn't avoid. I had to stop a minute after and got cavitation when I started on my way, again. I threw it in reverse and throttled up and down like I used to do on my GTI130 to clear it. I probably answered my own question, but I don't want to jack this up, it's our first boat and I am trying to take care of it the best that I can.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Well, apparently it is NOT the sea grass... Flushed it all out, took it out and the engines stay synched for about five minutes, then it starts again. Always seems to be the starboard engine. Drops about 200 rpm at 5500 rpm and above. Get to my destination, turn it off for a few hours, and then the same thing happens on the return trip... Very annoying...
